CNYE 13th Spring Dinner performance, organized by CLS, had invited Wushu Club to perform a grand performance in Tun Cancellor Hall, MMU Cyberjaya. This event was attended by Datuk Chor Chee Heong (Deputy Minister of Finance) and Prof. Dr. Zaharin Yusoff (MMU President). A memorable night indeed for all of the performers after working as a team and present the very best to MMU society.

Wushu Theory Class

For the first time MMU Cyberjaya Wushu Club has specially organized a Wushu theory class to its members and the public. In this class, there will be interesting videos and a talk given by our Wushu Instructor, Master Ken Woo.

Following are the details of the class:

Date: 24 March (Wed')
Time: 7.45pm

Location: MMU FOE CR1025

Admission: FREE

Light refreshment and SAPS points will be given to participants. Please register from us in order to confirm the amount of food.

CCIP I-Night 2010: Cross Cultural Integration Programme

This time Wushu Club did not miss out the opportunity to promote one of the famous chinese cultures to the MMU public - Dragon Flag Dance. With the 10 flags performing some formations, it resembles as if the dragon is flying with pride on the air.

CCIP-一个对我们大学非常重要的活动之一。一个让大家有机会接触和更了解其他种族包括在本地留学的外国人文化的活动。I-Night 是CCIP活动的最后一个晚上，大家被邀请在当天晚上表演自己种族的文化，而我们武术学会被邀请为中华文化表演-大旗舞。我们这次表演的主题是“龙旗舞”，利用十个大旗在加一些阵法，使旗看起来像龙一样在飞翔。


Chinese Dragon is a legendary creature in Chinese mythology and folklore. In chinese art, dragon is typically protrayed as long, scaled, serpentine with four legs. In chinese martial arts, "Dragon Style" is used to describe styles of fighting based more on understanding movement.

中国的神话与传说中，龙是一种神异动物，具有虾眼、鹿角、牛嘴、狗鼻、鲶须、狮鬃、蛇尾、鱼鳞、鹰爪、九种动物合而为一之九不像之形象。在中华武术里，武者模仿龙的动作运用在打斗之中。

Wushu Dance - RMMU Night

Wushu Dance! It is the first time of Wushu Club performing Wushu Dance in front of all students in MMU! It is a creative yet attractive dancing which includes the elements of Shaolin and Taichi by using the Huo Yuan Jia music (credit goes to Jay Chou).

在二零一零年二月四号晚上，多媒体大学DJ club 举办十一周年晚会，武术学会被邀请为他们当天晚上的开幕典礼表演武术-功夫舞。这次是我们第一次在多媒体大学里表演功夫舞！在霍元甲这首歌里，我们利用了舞蹈来表达武术，其中还结合了武术的太极和少林。

Trip to Port Dickson Part 2

2nd Day - During the early morning 5.30am, our vice president woke up to practice his 42 Style Taichi... *faint*... Then I was pulled by him from my dream in order to help him in preparing the breakfast as part of our BBQ food when everyone woke up later.

第二天早上五点半，我们的副主席已经起了身开始练太极拳42式，晕～～而我们可怜的主席被副主席吵醒准备BBQ的食物当其他人还在继续和“周公下棋”（因第一天晚上下雨，而改去第二天早上）

I'm so pity :(

我搽～我搽～我搽搽搽～～这份特别多“料”是我的～～嘻嘻～～

Most of us need to attend BBQ skill training classes. So in the end everyone standing there for waiting nothing...


白衣：（微笑着，嘴巴不动发出声音）Nicholas～快点看镜头啊～～

黑衣：等下吃香肠先还是鱼丸先呢～～～～

In order to realise how bad we were, one of our friends had isolated himself to a corner to think carefully...

One of the most significant motives of visiting Port Dickson is indeed playing water at the seaside. Therefore we usually can notice some kids jumping or even upside down for triumphant when they are at the beach.

来到了波德申，当然要来海边看看和玩玩^^

全部都是武术的动作，除了.....jew loon，嗯～难道是螃蟹拳？？

After having fun at the beach, it was time to back to MMU and then holidays! Members of Wushu club with high spirit and passion should keep up the good work and continue developing the club. Although this trip does not give extremely high excitement to everyone, at least it achieves one of our targets - FOR WUSHU WE GATHER, FOR TRIP WE GATHER TOO!
